Task #3
Task #3
Hey! Where I work I am also not allowed to take pictures of my students and I had been debating what to do because I didn't want to flake out on the assignment. I really enjoy taking pictures, so having two assignments that involved pictures was just perfect!
I ended up choosing these three pictures of my students work. We have been learning about nature and I have been trying to bring to class experiences where they can have textures and movement at the same time. I believe Affective Learning is a lot about stepping at the students level, getting to walk on their shoes, and having fun while learning. Therefore, these pictures represent three moments in class where my kids have in one way or another said how much they enjoy being in class.
1. Because they got to paint on the floor with their fingers and tempera paint.
2. Because they got to freely express their ideas with a 5 minute silent drawing time.
3. Because they got to get messy with glue and paint and colors.

Hi Carolina!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed seeing your students' production. You are very right when you mention coming to our students' level, bringing movement and textures, and getting in their shoes. I can clearly see that the focus is in their experience learning.
I like the silent painting moment. It's important to give the brain some time to process all the new information.
Your students certainly are living beautiful moments that are becoming cherishable memories.
