Task #1
Hi! I hope all of you are doing great!

Everyday object: Plastic eggs
Goal:To tell stories about their vacations
Target language:Past tenses
Instructions:
1. Put inside the plastic eggs the verbs you want to practice.
2. Ss stand in a circle and T plays music. The ss pass the eggs around like in "Hot Potatoe"
3. When the music stops, the ss that have the eggs have to open them, get a verb out, and make a sentence talking about their vacations in past tense.

    Love the movement, the suspense, and the colourful eggs! Connecting language to their real life is key. I would also allow other students to make comments and questions about the first sentence. By doing this we get them to talk to each other. 

    Thank you for sharing! Will get more eggs for my school here in Brazil!

They are already familiarized with the characters of the book (Tina the tortoise, monkey, own, duck and rabbit). The leading character is Tina the tortoise.
