Hi everyone, I would like to share my affective goodbye to my students in the practicum. I chose a special course of students who are in an improvement program because they have repeated course. They can be difficult to handle at times but everything turned out great. I had told them that I had chosen THEM and that I trusted them. These cakes are called "palmeras gigantes" and have become very popular in Spain for parties. One student had said that he would like to have one the last day, and they really deserved it, so I ordered this one with a thank you message. The last day they were doing the exam, and when everyone was finished, I brought it in. They were so excited!! Great you told a story and that it worked well. Can you identify some points that contributed to your success? Reflecting on good classes is important for us to make meaning of what happened and to be able to replicate it again.
There are always three stories: the one we want to tell, the one we tell, and the one we think we told.
