Task #3

Task #3
This photo represents my 10 minute walk to and from school every day. Each day at least one student will pop out of the corner and start walking with me. Most of the time nothing is said but smiling and giggles. I think the walks create a non verbal bond between us. The students feeling safe around me and for me it is showing they care.

  3. Angela,

Your words say a lot to me. Being together without saying a word is something that sometimes can feel uncomfortable. Simply walking together is a beautiful way to connect individually with your students.

This experience shows light on the aspects of a student-teacher relationship that transcend the ones we are able to easily talk about. So simple, so human, so powerful.

Thank you for promoting this reflective moment for me. I learn so much with all of you!!!
