Task #3

This picture symbolizes affective language learning for me because:

1. One girl is smiling, the other one is screaming, this symbolizes they are free, they are being themselves and they are having fun.
2- They have paint on their palms, that means that the activity has many purposes.
2.1 Learn english, learn colors
2.2 Have fun, work with the visual and tactile sense
2.3 Work as a team

And for me, all the purposes mentioned are part of a affective language learning.

    I love how happy they are even if one is screaming! Seems they're enjoying what they're doing! :)

    Great points, Raquel. There is certainly a lot of emotion present in their faces. 

    Asking them what colors represent to them and what feelings they have when they see different colors can even bring more affect to this experience. 

    We always remember what we learned with pleasure.

They are already familiarized with the characters of the book (Tina the tortoise, monkey, own, duck and rabbit). The leading character is Tina the tortoise. Week Four: Discussion Task #2 Finding the right audience and making writing meaningful Having earned some experience with the writing classes I am in a good position to recommend a proven strategy for the meaningful writing, which includes affective elements. The below step-by-step guide reflects one of the strategies I used successfully with elementary school students. I. Introducing Strategy 1.
