Me introducing the Monk into the classroom last week. Can anyone suggest a name? Maybe he is a distant relative of Buddy. I missed the week 1 discussions but maybe this picture illustrates what affective learning is about.

    Love the picture too! He is a monk so he surely meditates. I would go for a name that sounds like a mantra, like Tom, which sounds like Om, and that way you can also say Tom the Monk:-D

    Love your idea of calling him Tommmmmmmm, Silvia! 

    Damien, your puppet idea was very appropriate as children in Thailand can certainly relate themselves to a monk. 

    It is beautiful to see how all of you are engaged with what is happening! 

    Marionettes are challenging to manipulate and I congratulate you for using them in your class.
