. #task2 I was 9 when I started learning English at school. I remember I cried everyday I had English homework, it was impossible to understand the famous "verb to be". Lessons were in L1 and grammar was totally out of context.
For me, learning a foreign language was useless and I wasn't the kind of person who would succeed in it.
When I was 13, my dad enrolled me in an English language institute and since then I realized that learning English could be fun, useful and possible. I became one of the best students in my group and every time a teacher acknowledged my achievements I felt more and more motivated.
I believe that the great teachers I had and using English in a meaningful context changed my relationship with English.

Hi Daniela! I am so happy that you had another go at learning English and that you noticed that it was useful, possible, and fun.
